Moonacre is a private property, lovingly opened to families through our charity with dedication and passion. It is a beautiful, peaceful retreat set within nature a place away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Here, you can truly switch off, surrounded by stunning scenery, pure tranquillity, and beautiful walks. You may even find yourself getting up close to our resident friendly deer herds and peacocks, along with other beautiful wildlife that call Moonacre home. There is the opportunity to sit around the log fire, watching the twinkle of the night stars, breathing in the stillness, and simply being. With many attractions close by which you may or may not wish to explore everything you need to know will be included in your welcome pack on arrival. During your stay, we also offer families the opportunity to plant a tree in memory of their loved one, along with a personalised plaque created especially in their honour a lasting tribute that will grow and flourish for years to come.
